Federal holidays are checked against the list of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM); the other dates follow the usual rules for the day.
March 2027 has three dates that people like to see: clocks go forward one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday 14 March, St. Patrick's Day is Wednesday 17 March, and Easter is Sunday 28 March. Easter is early this year because the date follows the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon. Good Friday is the 26th.
There is no federal holiday in March, so offices keep their usual hours all month.
What should I write on the March 2027 calendar?
On the 14th, write "clocks forward" in the box the day before so you set them on Saturday night. You lose an hour of sleep that night. Church and family plans for Easter are worth writing in now: the service time, who is cooking and who is driving. If you are making a printed order of service, use a bold, plain layout at 18 point or larger, as the guidelines of the American Printing House for the Blind advise.
