This free large print multiplication chart is a 12 by 12 table with bold headers and large numerals in every cell. Print it on Letter, A4 or 11 x 17 paper, in landscape. The 11 x 17 size gives the largest numbers, about 30 point against about 21 point on Letter.

What is a large print multiplication chart?
It is a table with the numbers 1 to 12 across the top and down the left side. Each cell holds the product of its row and column, giving 144 answers in all. Most charts print those in tiny type. This one uses thick black lines, bold headers, and numerals as large as the cell will allow, so a reader with low vision can find an answer without a magnifier.
The layout follows the type guidance of the American Printing House for the Blind, with plain type and solid black lines. The row and column headers sit on a light cream tint, never gray. You can read more in what is large print.
How do I read a multiplication chart?
Find the first number in the row headers on the left, and the second in the column headers along the top. Run a finger along the row and down the column until they meet. The number in that cell is the answer.

The table is symmetrical. 6 x 7 and 7 x 6 give the same answer, so you can look up the pair in either order. Use a ruler or a strip of card under the row to keep your place.
Who uses a large multiplication chart?
Students with low vision use it at school, and teachers pin it up in classrooms. Adults use it for shop or kitchen sums and when brushing up on times tables. Family and tutors use it to practice with children. It is a reference sheet only, and makes no claim about health or treatment.
