This food word search has three original lists: fruit, vegetables, and meals or ingredients. Every puzzle has 12 words. Choose across and down for rightward and downward words, or all eight directions for diagonal and backward words too.

These lists use US English spellings, including YOGURT and OMELET.
How many food puzzles can I download?
Select one, two, three, four or six puzzles. Three gives you all the lists once. Longer downloads reuse the lists with different placements. The general word search uses garden, kitchen and reading lists. The animal word search and winter word search offer other topics with the same grid size.
How do I keep the answers out of the handouts?
The PDF places all puzzles before their answers. For six puzzles, print pages 1–6 for players; pages 7–12 mark every answer. Paper choices are US Letter, A4 and 11 x 17 inches. Print at Actual size to retain the chosen letter size; the word list stays at 18 pt.
