Which Bible stories are used in the puzzles?
Puzzle one uses NOAH, ARK, RAINBOW, DOVE, FLOOD, OLIVE, COVENANT, FAMILY, WATER, EARTH, ANIMALS and MOUNTAIN. Puzzle two has MOSES, EGYPT, PHARAOH and other Exodus words. Puzzle three has JESUS, BETHLEHEM, MARY, JOSEPH, MANGER and other Nativity words.
These are word-finding activities, with no translated Bible passage copied into the grid. For a passage to read alongside the Nativity puzzle, print the Christmas story from Luke 2. The Psalm 23 printable provides a separate complete reading.
How do I choose a Bible word search with answers?
Choose three puzzles to include each story once. Four or six puzzles repeat the lists with new placements. Across and down uses only rightward or downward words. Choose all 8 directions if you want diagonals and backward words too.
The answer pages come after all puzzle pages, so they can stay with the person checking answers. For seasonal words beyond the Nativity, use the Christmas word search. The activities are grouped under large print games.
Can I print several copies for a group?
Download once and print multiple copies of the puzzle pages. They will all have the same grid. The word list uses 18 pt type; the grid letters can be 18, 24 or 28 pt. Print at Actual size and choose paper that matches the PDF.
